The Pledge to Protect is an empowering and enjoyable way for community members to take action against invasive species. By taking the Pledge to Protect, participants commit to simple, effective practices that help prevent the spread of invasive plants and animals in their favorite outdoor spaces, backyards, and neighborhoods. Those who take the pledge receive easy step‑by‑step actions and educational resources that support everyday stewardship. It’s a fun, rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the health of our lands and waters. Join Megan Pistolese‑Shaw, SLELO PRISM’s Education and Outreach Coordinator, to learn how you can become a protector of the places you love and take meaningful steps toward safeguarding local ecosystems. This event is through a collaboration with the Local Living Venture out of St. Lawrence County.
