NYISAW_Wellesley Island’s Swallow-wort Shovel

Calling volunteers and Earth heroes of all ages! Help us protect our native habitat’s biodiversity by removing an invasive plant species called swallow-wort. Please bring work gloves and a good pair of shoes. Tools will be provided, but bring a gardening trowel and knee pads if you have them.
Participants do not have to pay the Park’s day-use fee. Groups will meet at the Nature Center for instructions at 10 am and again at 12pm, stay as long as you’d like!
