Our early detection team has identified sparse populations of invasive swallow-wort and yellow iris. These smaller populations can be more easily controlled through manual hand removal efforts and we’re seeking volunteers to assist with hand-pulls this summer. No experience is required, we will show you what to do.
Please fill out the REGISTRATION FORM to indicate what hand-pull events you are going to join. You must provide your own transportation.
Directions and more details regarding logistics will be emailed to the address you provide on the registration form as the event approaches.
Please contact Megan.Pistolese@tnc.org with any questions you may have.
Below are the dates on which we’re planning to hold a hand pull (these dates may be subject to change due to bad weather or other reasons).
