ST. LAWRENCE EASTERN LAKE ONTARIO PARTNERSHIP FOR REGIONAL INVASIVE SPECIES MANAGEMENT
Cold Spring Brook State Forest in located in the towns of Edwards and Pitcairn in St. Lawrence County and spans 1,068 acres. It can be accessed from the Kansas Road, the Cold Spring Brook Public Forest Access Road, and St. Lawrence County Route 23 in the town of Pitcairn. The forest is comprised of large late-stage trees and Greenwood Creek runs alongside the walking trail within the forest. It is open year-round to the public and offers various outdoor activities (NYS DEC, Cold Spring Brook State Forest). This state forest is also within the A2A corridor region, the high biodiversity area connecting the Algonquin Park in Ontario and the Adirondack Park in New York.

raspberry, Wood nettle, Deer tongue, Common blue wood aster, Shaggy Scalycap, Staghorn sumac, Thicket
creeper, Honey mushroom, New York fern, White meadowsweet, Winterberry holly, Threeleaf Goldthread, Grey Alder, Northern Bugleweed, American beech, Swamp dewberry, Trembling aspen, Partridgeberry, Horseweed and horsetails
Invasive species: Coltsfoot, Broadleaved helleborine, Spotted knapweed, Perennial sow thistle
