When: Tuesday, November 19th from 2:00-3:00pm EST
Description: 30-min panel presentation covering two case studies of recent hydrilla detections and rapid response efforts followed by Q&A. Topics include: recent hydrilla discovery in Orchard Park, New York and the rapid response efforts that occurred to address this discovery and an overview of the County’s response to the recently documented hydrilla infestation in Libertyville, Illinois, along with background on the Illinois Hydrilla Rapid Response Plan.
Presenters: Jennifer Dunn, Biologist with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Great Lakes Programs, and Mike Adam, Senior Biologist with the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center,
