Great Lakes Summer Teacher Workshops

Educators, join the New York Sea Grant and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation this summer for one of four free workshops during which you’ll:
• learn about new resources you can use to teach your students about the Great Lakes!
• learn from experts on the ecosystems and issues facing the Great Lakes!
• get free educational tools and materials!
Workshops will follow current CDC guidance, including required masks for non-vaccinated individuals.
The four outdoor workshops will be held throughout the summer at NY State Parks & Historic Sites across NY’s Great Lakes from 3 pm-5 pm:
— July 14th: Evangola State Park, Irving, NY
— July 21st: Southwick Beach State Park, Henderson, NY
— August 4th: Fair Haven Beach State Park, Fair Haven, NY
— August 18th: Hamlin Beach State Park, Hamlin, NY
