iMap Early Detection Training-Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary THTLT
Join the Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust and SLELO PRISM on Friday, May 17th 1-3pm at the Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary 31827 Middle Rd, Watertown, NY 13601
This is a free outdoor guided hike open to the public. Registration required, click here to register.
Participants will learn recognize invasive species encountered on the trails at the sanctuary and how to report their observations using a mobile app called iMapInvasives- an online invasive species observation database platform that aids invasive species management throughout New York State.
Attendees may become part of a Friends of the Sanctuary group focused on stewardship at the wildlife sanctuary through THTLT & become part of a regional invasive species volunteer surveillance network through SLELO PRISM. Registration for this workshop is required.
