DEC Invasive Species Workshop for Educators
Calling middle school educators! Join us for an invasive species curriculum workshop on Friday, September 28th in Albany, NY. The workshop will include the following: an introduction to invasive species, instructions on how to utilize iMapInvasives, review a 2-week unit on invasive species and receive supplies such as hand lenses, guides, etc. It is crucial that students have a basic understanding of invasive species and what they can do to help stop the spread. By instilling this knowledge at an early age, we can help mold them into becoming good stewards of the environment.
When: Friday, September 28th from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Where: Capital Region BOCES, 900 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Albany, NY 12205
