More details regarding launch logistics will be emailed to those who register.  \nParticipants should arrive by 9:45 AM and have their boats ready to launch. The event will kick off promptly at 10 AM with an overview of water chestnut and a hand-pull technique demonstration. \nParticipants will be guided on a paddle between the Village of Heuvelton Boat Launch and Eel Weir State Park. There will be two groups launching from two different launch sites. Each paddle route is approximately 3 and a half miles long\, totaling between 3 and 4 hours\, depending on how many plants we find and paddle speeds.  \nParticipants should bring their watercraft\, and life jackets are required.
